Sketchdump 1.0- "The Request"

While in Colorado I had no internet access, so all weekend I reread  The Request and did sketchies inspired by it.
I didn't really like the thought of AUs until I read this story.
I. Love. It.

Call it the hopeless romantic girl in me, but it is buckets of sweetness and adorkable Cas.

I went for a more cartoony/anime look because of the style of the story.. it read very comic book-y to me.
Also, this was an excuse to draw lots of Cas's's's's's'ss... I think.

So anyway go read it if you haven't, please. And hug [info]cloudyjenn , because my world is now sparklier.

Pictures shouldn't be terribly spoily if you haven't read it? But be aware just in case.

Oh I can't look away from all this adorableness! I don't even know where to start. Well, yes, I do. Thank you for finding my fic interesting enough to draw these awesome sketches! I can't even decide which is my favorite. Oh wee!Castiel and his big foofy wings. *heart melts* And Dean! And I'm guessing that's Michael I spy in his glasses and garden. Ah! I love the other angel's shorter wings too. They look so nifty! Dean and Cas hiding under feathers. *melts some more*

Seriously, I love these and you're so very talented! I can't stop smiling!

Ah I was nervous!
It's difficult to try and turn someone else ideas into pictures when you can't be sure what said person intended. I am sure I got it way off, my wonky imagination!

I am glad you like them, thank YOU for making such an awesome 'verse

When I thought of Micheal... I could only imagine him to look like Clow Reed. I am sorry, I practically grew up wanting to live in CCS |D

No, not way off at all! It didn't occur to me for Michael to have long hair, but I love it. And your comment about him fills me with delight anyway. I have this other fic, Soul Piece, where Cas is in his true form for much of it and my sister, an obsessive CCS fan, tells me she always imagines him as looking like Yue. So it all makes sense somehow. ;)

Haha Good. I love CCS, when I was little I wanted to be Sakura :' (
Heck I still wanna be Sakura.

This is my version of Cas' true form

Anyway glad it was up to snuff. I was hesitant to do Micheal because I figured my vision was way off but I figured what the heck. I probably want to add color to some of them at some point, so... I gotta ask... is he blonde like it is mentioned that most the male angels are?

Ahahaha, yes! Seriously, I adore Nintendo. I think Dean would squash Cas though what with the HAY HEY HAAAY HAYE HEY HAYYYYY

But yes, for coloring purposes, all the male angels are blond and have different shades of brown eyes. Michael's are light sandy brown. The females all have red-hair, but I don't think I said if their eyes were all the same. If they are, they're green b/c Anna's are green. So yeah, Cas with his black hair and blue eyes stands out again.

Lol that "HEY HEY LISSEN" Is the sound it plays when I get a text message...
It's so annoying when you are playing.. but so nostalgic years later. |D

Does this haircolor/look apply to the other angels already seen in the show? (example... Uriel or Zachariah... lol)

Oh, all of them are glorious! But wee!Castiel and the one just below it? Probably my favorites! Also, both of the Dean/Cas ones are just utterly amazing and squee-worthy!

I just love the way you draw Cas's wings all scraggly and a bit ruffled whilst Anna's (?) are all pristine and contained.

And I second the comment about hands. SO PURDY!

OHMYGOD. I am spying on your conversations, and if you ever end up doing illustrations for The Soul Piece, I will DIE of happiness. DIE. A happy, sparkly death of glee. For serious.

I haven't read this story, but based on your illustrations alone I really want to. Your art is such love! (I am in the process of slinking through your journal and saving it all as we speak >.>;; It's not creepy. At all.)

It took me forever to find this story, since I couldn't get to it through the link you provided. Now that I have read it, though, I have this to say.

I FUCKING LOVE YOU.

The art was just sooooooooo wonderful, and I looooove the way you draw wings. Oh, Castiel, you adorable little angel, you. *hugs*
